We work directly with incarcerated clients and their families to advocate for individual needs. These services include but are not limited to: healthcare, basic needs, disability rights, assist with guidance through the process and policies within the facility and systemically, access to visitation/phone calls/property etc.

Justice and Recovery Advocates, Inc. is a Maryland based organization driven to provide assistance to children and families who have loved ones incarcerated and suffering from mental health and substance use disorders as well as providing assistance to currently and formerly incarcerated individuals.

For nearly 100 years, the ACLU has been our nation’s guardian of liberty, working in courts, legislatures, and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and the laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country.
